German Rescue Robotics Center
The German Rescue Robotics Center offers a unique research and test facility for robotics in Europe with a hall area of 1300m² and a spacious outdoor area – the so-called Living Lab. Modern communication technology enables tests under real conditions. Modular test scenarios for ground and flight robots can be created in the indoor test fields. Thus, environments can be flexibly adapted to the requirements of the users. On the outdoor area, application-oriented scenarios, such as broken and difficult to access areas, can be simulated. This is an ideal location to demonstrate how robotics can help to protect human life and efficiently support emergency forces.
