Tuesday, Sep 28 – Competition (Standard test methods)
First day of the competition. The teams compete in various standardized test suits to demonstrate their capabilities in the fields of maneuvering, mobility, dexterity, and exploration.
Wednesday, Sep 29 – Competition (Standard test methods).
Second day of the competition. The teams compete in various standardized test suits to demonstrate their capabilities in the fields of maneuvering, mobility, dexterity, and exploration.
Thursday, Sep 30 – Final runs (“DRZ Challenge”), application workshop with first responders, and award ceremony.
Final day of the competition. The teams compete in an application-oriented mission simulating a realistic accident in a chemical laboratory where traditional first responders would be at a high risk. The mission requires the teams to perform multiple, versatile tasks such as opening a door, traversing debris, navigating through smoke, and finally identifying a critical, heated container as well as sealing it.
